Dance Allegro Academy performs "Allegro Winter Spectacular" as well as "The Nutcracker" each December. These Winter recitals occur over two days, with one day reserved for Ballet and the other performances for all other classes and competition teams. Dance Allegro also performs a Spring Show and a full-length ballet each June.
All costume fees for recitals will be collected within 30 days of first class (or by September 5th) for the winter show and within 30 days of first class (or by February 5th) for the spring show. Tickets for recitals will be announced prior to going on sale, and can be purchased at Dance Allegro Academy.
All Dance Classes run August through June. Open enrollment for classes occurs twice a year: July to September for fall classes and November to January for spring classes. Class fees will be automatically withdrawn from your bank account on the 5th of each month. A check may be written to cover fees as follows: September through December, and January through June. Summer sessions may be paid weekly or monthly. There will be a $50 fee on all returned checks. Punch Cards for adult classes may be purchased at the studio.
Dancers will be placed in the appropriate class depending on ability and age and is done at the discretion of the teachers and Director. Proper fitting shoes are a must for dance classes as well as the appropriate clothing. As classes progress, training becomes more rigorous. Other issues such as foot shape and proper fit will be handled by the director. Please encourage your dancers to work hard and come prepared to all classes.
