Dress Code
Ballet
Classes have a required leotard color for each level (if you’re not sure which color you need it is listed at the bottom of the class schedule here), pink tights, tight ballet bun (here is a good tutorial) and canvas ballet shoes.
*It's common for dancers and gymnasts to not wear underwear under their leotards and tights, especially as they get older:
Tights are designed as underwear. Wearing underwear under tights is similar to wearing underwear under a swimsuit.
Jazz
Form fitting top and bottoms, black jazz shoes.
Lyrical
Form fitting tops and bottoms or leotard and tan lyrical shoes.
Hip Hop
Black soled indoor shoes - there are many different styles but here is an example- (Please keep a pair of shoes just for dance class that aren’t worn outside), and athletic moveable clothing.
Tap
Black shorts or jazz pants, leotard or form fitting top and tap shoes.
Acro
Leotard or form fitted clothing, hair pulled back, no shoes.
Please Remember
*Dress code is part of the discipline and is required just like cleats for soccer, a helmet for football etc.
If you have more than one class a day, you can change in the restrooms.
Please remember to keep hair secured and out of face
No jeans
No jewelry
And please NO outdoor street shoes in studio 1 and 2.
Thank you!!
